This work is part of the Notes of Drawing series , where conceptual drawing practices are explored. The video was shot during the residency Phenomenon in Anafi in the early hours of the afternoon when the sun casts a perpendicular shadow.
The idea was to draw a line, which fades away with the sea waves, while walking on the beach holding a stick. The line refers to horizon, the gesture to drawing as a performance act and the effect of fading or erasure serves as a metaphor to the ephemeral, which is expressed as a natural force.
